WARNING: iOS 17 introduced new permissions to access Baromter/Altimeter data.
The old Barometer application (v1 through v4, 2016-2024) is no longer compatible with newer iOS versions going forward.

A new version "5" of Barometer and complete rewrite has now been published for the newer iOS versions.
In it's current form this offers a simpler but working user interface based on the latest versions of iOS and underlying technologies.


Barometer v5 (2024) supports
All iPhone models running iOS 17.4 or later
All iPad models running iPadOS 17.4 or later

The device must have a built in sensor - the app runs 100% offline and relies on this sensor to work.
